Chinese Publishing Blue Bridge Creative Industry Park is a Creative Industry Park planed and constructed on its owned land by the Shanghai branch of Chinese National Publications Import and Export Corporation affiliated to Chinese Publishing Group Corporation, targeting content industry and new media with the core characteristics of digital publishing. In 2010, upon the approval by the State Press and Publication Administration and the Shanghai Press and Publication Bureau, it was set as Hongkou park of national digital publishing base, and in 2014 it became a cultural and creative industry park in Shanghai, among the first group ratified and entitled by Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industry Office. The park is located in Hongkou District, Shanghai Dabaishu knowledge innovation and service trade circle, covering an area of 22 mu(1 mu=666.7 square meters), consisting of four main buildings, with a total construction area of 32,000 square meters. Centering on the research and development of digital content, the practice of the national strategy and key projects as well as industrial development and personnel training, the park has attracted a number of cultural technology and creative design companies, and the Shanghai branches of five companies have settled in the park, including Chinese Publishing Group's “time-honored brands” such as the Commercial Press, Zhonghua Book Company, SDX Joint Publishing Company, People's Music Publishing House and the renowned Guangxi Normal University Press. The park has already become a crucial base for the non-Shanghai publishing enterprises’ cross-industry and trans-regional development in Shanghai.
